Comb Back Windsor
Comb Back Windsor Chair with carved ears and knuckles with an antiqued finish. The distressed finish is made with multiple layers of milk paint, rubbed to show wear yielding an aged look but meant for everyday use. The chair has hard maple turnings, white pine seat and red oak spindles, arm & crest. The turnings as well as the floral ear carvings and carved knuckles are from a style found in Connecticut.

The Continuous Arm Windsor Chair is thought to originate in New York City around 1870. This chair is finished in blue milk paint with pumpkin highlights and an oil top coat. The seat is carved in pine with hard maple turnings and oak spindles and bend arm. The arm and back is made with one continuous piece of oak that is steam bent into the double bend unifying and strengthening the chair.
